It's YOUR Day! (woogies birthday layout)

 Our german shephards birthday is this Jan 24th so I thought I would make a page for his birthday! The girls are planning a little birthday party for him. Can't wait. He will be 5 and he is my oldest kid! lol

I used Paper Pups, Celebrations, New Arrival and Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridges on this layout. 

Paper Pups: dog bone on photo mat, little dog bones in bowl, dog bowl, dog food (I used the food from the dog bowl cut out and put it in the bag of bones at the top to make it look like tissue paper) fire hydrant
Celebrations:Dog Border (I punched the holes myself), square tag (photo mat), dots at top of page are from the circles on the square tag, It's Your Day page title, party hat by presents, balloons
New Arrival: presents
Christmas Cheer: bag for bones

Dog Christmas Presents-Doggy Treat Nut Box

I used Cricut's nut box from the Tags and Bags cart as well as the Paper Pups cart. These little doggy treat boxes are for all the dogs in our extended family. The tree is a Sizzix die that I embellished with fake snow, its 3D. The bag of doggie treats have a mix of 5 flavors.

I used metalic card stock and dry embossing along with DCWV papers and Bazzill Bling Cardstock. Swarovski crystals are used on the reindeer on the outside and inside of the card to embellish the reindeers collar. I used metalic gold ink to embellish the tag on the inside of the card.

Creating an embossing folder using your Cricut

I stumbled onto this blog today and found the coolest tip! You can make embossing folders using your Cricut. How cool is this! You have to check out this blog for the tutorial. I'm so excited to try this! Kudos to Cloe for sharing this.
