The Cricut Bus...Back to School

BusAll the shapes on this bus were made with the Cricut George Cartridge. I used small black stickers for the word "bus" and red sequins and glitter for the lights. All pieces are made from Bazzill Bling cardstock.

The Creative Mind of a 3 Year Old

Abstract CowMy little Jasmyn never seems to amaze me with her creativity. She can see things that most people don't even catch. Like if we are watching a commercial on tv and there is a little bird in a small little picture hanging on the wall behind the actor selling something, she will yell out bird and it takes you a minute to register what she is talking about. This is a box of my scraps that I have sitting on top my dresser in the bedroom. Jaz was sitting on the bed watching tv when she yells out "COW". I looked at her and then the tv and said, there is no cow. She said no "COW" and pointed to my box of scraps. After I got to looking at it, it does look like an abstract cow!

Abstract Art

Abstract ArtJasmyn and Lilly love painting and coloring. The really love the Barbie Rapunzel movie where she uses painting as an outlet to express herself. The piece on the left is done by Jaz my 3 year old and the one on the right is Lil's, age 2. When they finished creating these using crayons they presented it to me as their paintings and then took them to the fridge and hung them up. I love these!

African Grey Pendant

African Grey Pendant NecklaceOriginally, I wanted to sculpt an African Grey earrings for my mother-in-law who has adopted 3 of my mom's African Grey's...Oscar, Joe and Sunshine. It ended up being a lot bigger than what I was going for so I decided to make it into a pedant for a necklace. This is made from Premo and Kato polymer clay. Not too shabby for my first try.

Bubble Bath Time Layout

Bath TimeOMG, I can't believe it...I just can't believe it! I made the The Cricut CHIRP Newsletter! - January 14, 2008, Vol. 86. I was so excited to see the newsletter this week that I called my sister in the middle of the night to tell her. For the last couple of months I have gave my sister kudos for making the newsletter several times. She's pretty awesome at making layouts. What's even cooler is that she made the CHIRP newsletter this week too. Her layout is the "OH BABY! IT'S A BRAND NEW YEAR!" layout.
